Regional Profiles - 2000 Census

OSEDA uses Regional Profiles as a format for presenting important and timely social, economic and demographic indicators pertaining to Missouri's counties and regions. Indicator data such as change in population, ages of the population, median family income, etc. are presented in table form. Generally, the first table pertaining to a particular indicator reports those data for each Missouri county listed in alphabetical order. In following tables the indicator data are summarized for different combinations of counties constituting regions. Currently, data are reported separately for each of three different sets of regions being used in Missouri: University of Missouri Extension, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED). Indicator data are summarized in table form for each region and a following table reports data for each of the counties included within a region.

In addition to reporting data in table form, Regional Profiles include graphs, maps and analytical text designed to make data more informative and useful. The indicators currently included in Regional Profiles are presented in topical form in the following Table of Contents.
