Kids Count in Missouri 2011 (KCM) is a partnership of The Children's Trust Fund, Partnership for Children and the University of Missouri's Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis. KCM's mission is to improve the well-being of Missouri's children by increasing the visibility of the condition of children in their own communities and by promoting policy and programmatic changes. KCM is also supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, America's largest philanthropic source for disadvantaged children, KCM is joining with the other 49 states to shape a new direction for America's children. KCM is collaborating with 35 organizations and government agencies, and the Missouri General Assembly to publish an annual profile of every county on the well-being of children in Missouri.
