Project SUCCESS has four major Organizational
Components:
Oversight
Committee
The
Project SUCCESS Oversight Committee will
establish, prioritize, and coordinate implementation of project goals; establish project
policies and operational procedures; approve project budget and evaluate the
project. Members of the Oversight

Team
The
Project SUCCESS Design
Team will assess training needs of Success Team members and design training.
Members of the Design Team include:

Regional Teams
The
9 Regional Success Teams will consist of:
- DESE Area Supervisor
- RPDC Director
- MAP Facilitator
- STARR Teachers
- Federal Program Assistance and Special Education
Facilitators
- Accelerated School Facilitators
- Other DESE Staff as assigned
The Regional Success Teams will serve as resources to local Success Districts in
the implementation of the local action plan. They will also serve on local Success Teams
as requested and assist in the identification and dissemination of successful practices in
brining about improved student and district performance.

The Local District Action Team
The Local District Action Team will consist of:
- The district superintendent
- Other district personnel as assigned by the superintendent
- DESE Area Supervisor
- RPDC Director
- Other members of the Regional Success Team as requested by
the superintendent.
This team will develop the district-specific action plan to address areas of
concern including goals, responsibilities, timelines and results-based evaluation. The
team will also identify resources needed to implement the action plan and see to it that
those resources are deployed. As work progresses, the team will monitor initiatives
and report district Success activities to the Project SUCCESS coordinator.
